Bay School District Creates Employee Only Healthcare Clinic

The bay district wellness clinic will provide service to 1,700 bay district employees, their dependents, and retirees on the bay district health insurance plan. The clinic will focus on early prevention, to help lower the risk of future complications for patients.

The concentration on prevention and centralized care will save the district money in health insurance costs.

"Financially, the district will benefit from this. As we all know, insurance claims and the cost continue to rise and this will be able to help the district insurance as well," said deputy superintendent Sandra Davis.
