Second Jackson County Bank Seized By FDIC

GRACEVILLE - The FDIC has taken over four failed banks in Florida this year. Two of those have been in Jackson County.

On Wednesday, First Federal Bank of Florida assumed control of the Bank of Jackson county in Graceville. Sadly, it was one of the oldest in Florida, surviving the Great Depression and helping future generations get back on their feet.

Customers still have complete access to their money.

First Federal took over Chipola Community Bank back in April.
