President Don Gaetz said, "Very important to our area here, Northwest Florida, we need to make sure that this area and our community continue to be the most miltary friendly in the state and continue to make florida the most miltary friendly in the country. That's really job one for the legislature."
Gaetz will step down as Senate President at the end of the year.
