Walton County Woman Found

WALTON COUNTY--
UPDATE: A 77-year-old woman who went missing Saturday afternoon in Walton County has been found.

Walton County Sheriff's deputies sent out a releasing stating that Joy Staton of Santa Rosa Beach was found a little after 5 this evening.

Sheriff's deputies say Staton was found in south Walton County, but they have not released where she went.

Officials say she is okay and has been taken to her family's home.

Staton's car was spotted by a Walton County resident, who later called the Sheriff's Department.

The Walton County Sheriff's Office is searching for 77 year old Joy Staton.

Staton is approximately 5”11 and 135lbs with blond hair, green eyes, brown age spots on her arms, and a large mole on her neck.

She was last seen around 2:00 Saturday afternoon wearing a purple shirt with a blue heaver shirt over it.

She carries a very distinctive leather purse with bright colored diamond shaped patches.

She is driving a yellow 2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser with Indiana tag USW128.
