Silver Alert Leads To Man's Body in Bay County Pond

Sheriff's deputies found the body of 88 year old Ray Max Felming in a pond on State Road 20 near HIghway 77 in the Sand Hills area around 8:00 Monday morning after receiving calls from family members about a vehicle in the lake.

Fleming was last seen on Thursday and a silver alert was issued on Sunday.

Investigators, the Crime Scene unit and Bay County's Dive Team were on scene.

Tow trucks were able to pull the vehicle from the lake. Fleming’s body was found in the vehicle. Also found in the vehicle was the body of a dog. The Golden Retriever had also not been seen since Fleming went missing. The body of the dog was turned over to the family.

The medical examiner’s office has taken the body and will make positive identification and conduct an autopsy. The vehicle has been taken to the BCSO for Crime Scene to conduct a forensic investigation.
