Walton County Commissioners are scheduled for more discussions Tuesday on a proposed sports complex in South Walton.
During the last few meetings, they instructed County Administrator, Larry Jones, to rank the four possible locations for cost and suitability.
Jones is recommending the Commissioners buy one of the properties, lease another, and make renovations to Helen McCall Park.
He's also suggested Commissioners reopen their capital projects line of credit, and ask for $10 million to pay for the projects.
"It won't hit the budget, what that means is we will continue to make the payments we are making now, and it will extend the life of the loan,” said Louis Svehla, Public Information Officer for the County. “We won't pay it off as quickly as we have before, but it won't be a budget hit."
The board will discuss Jones' recommendation during Tuesday night's meeting, and either approve them or come up with their own plan.
