Since 1989, Country Music Radio has been raising money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital with the Country Cares Radiothon.
92-5 WPAP-FM kicked-off the 2-day radiothon Thursday morning.
Over the years the radiothon has raised a total of more than 400-million dollars nationwide. That's important St. Jude’s, which receives the majority of it's money from public donations.
WPAP’s Dhane Collins reminds his listeners that St. Jude’s helps children all over the world. St. Jude treats children with pediatric forms of cancer, but is also a leader in cancer research, which helps kids and adults all over the world. "Keep in mind...we will find a cure with St. Jude."
Day 2 of the radiothon began at 6:00 Friday morning and goes until 6 in the evening. Please listen and donate, because it's great cause.
