Stabbing Lands Suspect in Jail

One man was hospitalized and another is in jail following an early morning stabbing at Panama City Beach.

Wesley Mayo of Wewahitchka is in stable condition after being stabbed in the parking lot of Coyote Ugly Salon around 1:30 Friday morning..

Panama City Beach police say 33 year old Dustin Lamar Sutton of Cleveland, GA., is charged with pulling a knife and stabbing Mayo who sustained two stab wounds. His injuries were described as non-life threatening.

Sutton is jailed on charges of Aggravated Battery. His girlfriend, Heather Brewer of Sugar Hill, GA., attempted to break up the fight and suffered leg lacerations.
