Panama City Police have arrested a man in connection with a possible stabbing.
According to investigators with the Panama City Police Department, emergency responders received a call around 8:30 Saturday evening, regarding a man that had been stabbed in the 600 block of Cone Avenue, near the Rescue Mission.
When emergency responders arrived on the scene, they found the man who was bleeding from his abdomen. That person has been transported to a local hospital in serious condition. Investigators do not believe the injuries are life threatening.
Police say they've since arrested Jock Houpt, around 9:45 in the evening.
He's been charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and has been booked into the Bay County Jail.
