An update to a story we brought you Tuesday night.
Bay County Health Department officials have lifted a swimming advisory they issued for part of Lake Martin in Parker between Cherry Street and Business 98.
A ruptured line at a Bay County lift station located on Bob Little Road, spilled about 20 thousand gallons of raw sewage into a creek that empties into the lake.
Tests showed higher than normal levels of bacterial contamination.
This afternoon health officials say the latest test results show a satisfactory level of bacteria in the water.
