Teen Killed in Early Morning Traffic Crash

JACKSON COUNTY, Fla A teenager died and two other teens were injured in a single vehicle crash on State Road 71South in Jackson County.

The Florida Highway Patrol says the crash occurred at 4:15 Saturday morning.

The teens Chevy Silverado was traveling south on SR 71 when it drifted off the east shoulder and collided with a utility pole. It then started to rotate and then overturned.

The crash killed the driver who was identified as 16 year old Nolan Bailey Musgrove of Altha.

Troopers say two passengers in the vehicle were injured. They’re identified as Emily Sewell, 16, of Blountstown and Tristen Cole Miller, 16, of Altha. Both passengers sustained minor, non-life threatening injuries.
