The Florida Highway Patrol says 19 year old Heather Suzanne Walker was walking in the westbound lane of MLK Memorial Blvd at Crawfordville when she was struck by a car.
Troopers say there was light rain and the roadway was dark at the time of the crash.
Ms. Walker was taken to Tallahassee Memorial Medical Center and is listed as very critical.
The driver of the car, Jennifer Lynette Hicks, 28 of Garland, Texas was not injured. Troopers say no alcohol was involved in the mishap.
