Texting while driving will soon be illegal in Florida.
The Florida Senate passed the ban by a vote of 39 to 1 after the House added a clause which prevents officers from searching a person’s phone unless an accident results in injury or death.

This was the fifth year in a row lawmakers attempted to pass a texting while driving ban.
