Three Involved in Gulf County Shooting are Behind Bars

Five days after a shooting in Gulf County, the three responsible are behind bars.

Deputies responded to a shooting incident in the early morning hours of July 15th.

Two victims were driving in the St. Joe beach area when 27-year old Justin Armstead distracted them by standing in the middle of the roadway so 28-year old Robinson could begin firing at them.

The victims were able to flee the scene without injury.

Investigators believe one of the victims knew Robinson.

Robinson's girlfriend, Brittany Kyle, admitted to hiding evidence including shell casings and the firearm.

Robinson and Armstead are charged with aggravated assault with a firearm, and are both in the Gulf County Jail.

Kyle is facing charges of tampering physical evidence. She's waiting her first appearance.
