PANAMA CITY BEACH-- Wednesday is National Tourism Appreciation Day and to celebrate the Panama City Beach Convention And Visitors Bureau held a party at the county pier.

Hundreds of tourists and locals came out for the music, free food, drinks and plenty of fun in the sun.

This year includes a bigger focus on visitors and encouraging them to come back to be a part of our family.

The TDC – CVB bureau launched a new program called The Bucket List.

"We give people the opportunity of picking out those ten or twelve iconic things that they can do in Panama City Beach. Take a photo of it and share it with us and as people go and share their photos we send them different gifts tokens of our appreciation," said the TDC-CVB president Dan Rowe.
