The Panama City Beach resident who died at work after being run over by a trailer Monday night is survived by his 4 children and wife.
Police say around 7 o'clock Monday night, 25-year-old Sean Philbrook was attempting to step onto a platform from the trailer when he lost his footing and fell into the sand. That's when a tractor full of trash ran over him.
His coworkers are still feeling the shock of the loss. "I really didn't know what to think," said Dustin Burke, "I feel bad personally because I feel like there was something else I could have done after it all happened to prevent what happened on the way to the hospital."
Philbrook was working on the beach behind the Twin Palms Condominiums when the accident happened. Panama City Beach Police say Philbrook fell between the tractor and a trailer full of trash and the wheels of the trailer ran over him.
Paramedics rushed him to Bay Medical Center, but he died on the way.
Philbrook has only worked for the Coastal Parasailing Company for about 3 months.
"He was a hardworker, a family man," says Eric Patton, another coworker. "It's really hard for us to think about those 4 kids that he has...that he's not going to be able to be around anymore."
