A two car crash near the Okaloosa County airport has left one man dead and another seriously injured.
The crash happened on State Road 123 just south of State Road 85 Friday afternoon.
Killed was 17 year old Markos L. Papadopoulos of Crestview.
The Florida Highway Patrol says Papazdopoulos drifted onto the grassy shoulder and tried to over correct but lost control. He then went into a spin and came back on the highway.
42 Year old James W. Hendrix, II, of Crestvew was headed in the opposite direction and tried to avoid the spinning car but crashed into its side.
Troopers say Papadopoulos died a short time later. Hendrix was seriously injured and was taken to Ft. Walton Beach Medical Center.
