Traffic Delays Expected at Northside Elementary School

Panama City- Northside Elementary School parents could see some delays getting their children to school Monday.

Heavy rain Sunday caused a manhole in front of the campus on Northside Drive to partially sink. City crews set up a pump Sunday to remove the water still underground.

It's not clear if the sinking area could spread, but school district officials don't expect the school will be closed Monday. The main concern is travel as the school may have to reroute buses and cars to get the children into the school safely.
