The Bay County Sheriff’s Office arrested 19 year old Samantha Valladares and 21 year old Ryan Fink Monday morning.
Over the past several weeks, the BCSO received nearly a dozen complaints of car burglaries involving unlocked vehicles and the theft of firearms, GPS systems, computers and other electronics.
Sunday night investigators made contact with Valladares and Fink. The pair was living together in Mexico Beach.
During a search of Fink’s room, investigators found stolen laptops, five GPS systems, a Sirius satellite radio, and other electronics reported stolen as well as drug paraphernalia.
Fink was arrested and charged with four counts of burglary of a conveyance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and armed burglary.
Valladares was charged with four counts of principle to burglary of a conveyance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and principle to armed burglary.
BCSO investigators contacted the Gulf County Sheriff’s Office after information was developed that indicated the two suspects may also be responsible for numerous car burglaries in Gulf County.
Additional charges and arrests are expected.
