Two Killed in Defuniak Crash

Two people died in a car and semi tractor trailer rig grinding crash before dawn this morning in DeFuniak Springs.

Police tell NewsChannel 7 the crash happened on US 331 South at its intersection with Interstate 10. DeFuniak Springs police say a car driven by Andrea Hoffman, who is also known as Kristen McQueen, of Holmes County was traveling south on US 331. The semi was driven by Timothy Odum of Georgia.

The tractor trailer rig was crossing US 311 onto the west bound I-10 on ramp. The car crashed to the side of the semi, then steered across a ditch and continued westbound adjacent to the Interstate.

The female driver, Hoffman aka McQueen, and a rear seat passenger Billy Wayne Donaldson of Holmes County were both killed instantly. A third passenger in the car Rebecca Lynn Campbell Sapp of Holmes County was seriously injured and was taken to Sacred Heart in Pensacola.
