Gulf County Sheriff’s deputies say 19-year old Codie Letchworth and 18-year-old Westley Mayo broke into the Creekstop Grocery Store on Highway 71 in Wewahitchka.
Workers arrived Wednesday morning to find the glass door broken and a pool of blood outside the door.
Several minutes later deputies received a report that Letchworth had shown up at the hospital with a sever cut on his arm.
They say he confessed to breaking into the store and implicated Mayo.
Both are being charged with burglary.
