Tyndall Air Force Base Officials are investigating a drone incident that injured one pilot Tuesday afternoon.
Base officials say the pilots on board a QF-4 Phantom declared an emergency around 3:40 Tuesday afternoon due to a hydraulic problem during a routine training mission.
They attempted to land the aircraft and noticed it veering from the runway, so they decided to eject from the aircraft.
one of the pilots suffered minor injuries, but base officials say both are okay and under the supervision of the 325th Medical Group.
Base officials say there doesn't appear to be any damage to the aircraft.
Investigators are expected to have a report out on the incident in the next month.
