BAY COUNTY, FL-- Starting Monday, driving by Tyndall Air Force Base might include some extra noise.
The 325th Fighter Wing will be training Monday to Friday this week. They'll be conducting exercises to prepare the unit for a simulated departure.
The biggest changes are extended flying hours, and the base will shift to 24 hour operation for the week.
The community may also hear exercise alarm messages on the giant voice broadcasting system.
Tyndall AFB officials say the wing holds these types of exercises six times a year.
