Panama City Beach Fire Rescue responded to a gas station Sunday after a car started leaking gallons of gasoline.
It happened around 3:00 p.m. at the Tom Thumb off Back Beach Road. First responders said a leaking gas line on the vehicle may be to blame. Authorities said about 15 gallons may have been leaked, causing part of the gas station to stay closed for more than an hour as crews cleaned up the gas.
Hazmat crews were called out as a precaution, but they said there was no danger for nearby motorists.
