The Washington County Drug Task Force, consisting of the Chipley Police Department, Washington County Sheriff’s Office, in collaboration with the State of Florida Probation and Parole reports the arrest of four following a narcotic investigation.
On Wednesday, May 15th, Task Force Investigators received information about suspected illegal drug activity at a residence.
After arriving on scene, investigators were given permission by the home owner to search the residence at 4581 E. Berry Street in Caryville, FL.
During the search, several bottles in active production of methamphetamine were found throughout the home.
In addition, items used in the manufacturing of methamphetamine, as well as finished product were discovered.
A 3 year old child was found in the home at the time of the search.
Department of Children and Families was contacted and took the child into protective custody.
Arrested were 20 year old Thomas Ray Stricklen of Caryville, charged with manufacturing methamphetamine and child neglect; 20 year old Tracy Nichole Bruner of Caryville, charged with child neglect, violation of probation, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and possession of a controlled substance without prescription; 26 year old Christopher John Price of Caryville and 30 year old Zabbrina Gail Cook of Ponce de Leon, charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of firearm in the commission of a felony, child neglect, possession drug paraphernalia, and possession of a controlled substance without prescription.
