Waffle House Waitress Kidnapped

The Panama City police department is investigating an early morning kidnapping.

It happened at the Waffle House at 1901 Martin Luther King Junior Boulevard.

The victim, an employee of the restaurant says she got into her car after work and was confronted by a male who was already inside her car.

He made her drive south on highway 231 and then told her to park in the Mariner Plaza shopping center.

The man left her tied up in the back of the car. She was able to get a cell phone and contact co-workers.
They were able to find where she was left and called the police department.

Panama City Police are continue investigating.
