A woman in Wewahitchka allegedly shot her long-time roommate in the head. Early Sunday morning, Gulf County deputies found Esther Wilson standing over the victim.
They arrested Wilson and E-M-S took the victim to Bay Medical.
Wilson said the two were arguing when she picked up the gun. The two fought over the gun and it went off.
The bullet hit the victim in the mouth but the doctor says he'll make a full recovery.
The sheriff's office charged Ms. Wilson with aggravated battery with a firearm.

I agree, attempted murder is correct. She meant to shoot to kill him. I think GCSD charged her wrong on this one.

When you pick up a LOADED gun in a heated arguement you have the full intent to use it. Aggrevated battery??? More like Attempted Murder.

Yea right, anyone in their right mind or with a lick of sense would not be fighting over a gun, stupid rednecks.
