PENSACOLA, Fla. (AP) -- Fire officials say two children died in a house fire in the Florida Panhandle.
Pensacola Fire Marshal's Office spokesman Kevin Fiedor says the children -- ages 8 and 10 -- were found in the back bedroom early Monday. The children's mother and another adult were taken to a hotel provided by the American Red Cross.
The fire was reported about 1 a.m. Authorities say the house was fully engulfed in flames when they arrived.
Investigators from the state and local fire marshal's officer were trying to find out what caused the fire.
No further details were immediately available.
