City of Apalachicola Files Federal Lawsuit In Water Wars

Updated: 01/16/2008 - In the nearly two decades since Florida, Georgia and Alabama have been fighting over water, all of the legal actions have taken place on the state or federal level. That has now changed. Tuesday, the city of Apalachicola filed a nearly 100-page lawsuit against the Army Corps of Engineers for the way the agency is handling the water situation. Apalachicola's officials say they're fed up with the Corps decisions damaging the oyster industry.
