Cove Pig Sightings

The tale about the Cove pig lives on. For the past year people who live in the Cove area of Panama City have had several run-ins with what's now believed to be more than one pot-bellied pigs.

Around 1:30 Sunday afternoon, a pig was stopping traffic on Cherry Street in the Cove.

Dick and Pat Beach snapped a few shots of the multi-colored porker.

Pat says a neighbor told her and her husband a large pig was in their front yard while they were out of town last weekend.

Then, they returned home to a pig in the street Sunday. Pat claims the pig spotted Sunday appears a lot smaller then the one spotted last week.

People who live in the cove think the one pig, who became famous through national television coverage and t-shirts, has reproduced, resulting in several pigs now roaming the Cove.
