The M.B. Miller county pier in Panama City Beach will be closed for a couple of days this week due to some construction.
The pier, located on Front Beach Road and Alf Coleman, will close at 6:00 Monday morning and it will re-open at 6:00 Wednesday morning.
Workers will be placing concrete to create a walkway to the concession stand. Because the work is being done near the entrance to the pier, officials are required to close it.
Workers will also finish a permanent water line that runs along the entire pier. The new pier opened to the public on July 5th. The concession stand and operations building will be fully completed in mid September.
