Are you looking to make a difference for a child in our community?
Your locally owned and operated Sleep Center is partnering with The Junior League of Panama City to help in their mission to provide underprivileged children in our community with some of the basic necessities such as hygiene items, undergarments and shoes.
In 1951, the Child Service Center was organized with the sole purpose of serving the needy children in our community. With CSC having one of the largest budgets throughout the Junior League, they have come a long way from the first years of operation. For example, in 1967, 439 children were served with a budget of $1,484.81. In the 2011-2012 school year, their hardworking volunteers dedicated many hours to clothe and provide hygiene items to over 1,250 children in our community. To date this school year, the center has clothed 1139 children and they are well on track to surpass last year’s numbers.
