Weekend Armed Robberies

Springfield Cops are still searching for a man tonight from an armed robbery that happened Friday night. And now Panama City Police are searching for an armed robber who struck Saturday night in their city.

The incident happened at West 21st and Drummond which is just off of Michigan Avenue in Panama City.

According to police a man was walking down the road around 9p.m. Saturday night when another man demanded his wallet.

When the suspect allegedly threatened the victim with a hand gun, the victim gave him the wallet and the robber ran away.

It's not known how much money was actually stolen. But if you have any information about the incident you're asked to call the Panama City Police Department at 872-3100.

Springfield police are still searching for a man suspected of robbing a coin and laundry by gun point Friday Night.

Ondrea Denntrice Palmore is the man police are still on the lookout for.

Palmore demanded money while threatening the clerk with his gun, which he had hidden underneath his shirt.

Police say it happened at Emerald Coast Laundry at 3900 East 11th Street.

After getting the money Palmore ran south on Transmitter Road through a nearby apartment complex.

Police say at the time of the armed robbery he was wearing a dark hooded jacket and dark pants.

Police say Palmore is described as 135 pounds and about 5"9'.

They tell us they figured out who he was by the surveillance camera in the business. Palmore is considered armed and dangerous.
