Estranged Husband Arrested After Hospital Shooting

A nursing assistant's estranged husband is in custody after allegedly shooting her outside a central Florida hospital.

Yolanda Garvin-Williams was shot multiple times early Monday in the parking lot of the Parrish Medical Center in Titusville. She was pronounced dead in the emergency room.

Police arrested 38-year-old Jeremiah Williams on a charge of first-degree murder later Monday morning in Marion County, where he had fled in his estranged wife's car.

Titusville police said Williams will be booked into the Marion County jail before being transferred to the Brevard County jail.

Garvin-Williams was granted a temporary restraining order against Williams on May 5, citing murderous threats.
