Panama City Beach -- Authorities issued an Amber alert for a 3 month old baby who was last seen on Front Beach Road Sunday night. The child is now safe with his mother.

The statewide Amber alert for Caleb Clark went out, specifying that the infant might be in the company of 38-year-old Elton Clark, the child's father.

Police say Clark beat the child's mother and left with his infant son, threatening to hurt the baby if police were called. However, authorities soon located the father and child at a makeshift camp, and charged Elton Clark with battery, grand theft, and interference with child custody.
