"Calling all Dads" Event Encouraging Father Involvement

Thirty-six percent of Bay County homes are run by a single parent. Bay District Schools is working effortlessly to involve fathers in their children's education.

Tuesday, Lynn Haven Elementary students took a fun field trip and their dads were encouraged to go too.

"Calling all Dads" took place at the Home Depot in Panama City Beach. Dads and their kids got to see the home depot race car and build a toy race car together.

At Tuesday's school board meeting, officials also read a proclamation from Governor Scott about Florida parental involvement in education.

    Wouldn't this be more grammatically correct: "Bay District Schools are working tirelessly to involve fathers in their children's education." I believe "working effortlessly" is a contradictory phrase.
