The administrator overseeing the fund established to help people impacted by the BP oil spill says he wants to make it easier for shrimpers to get paid.

Kenneth Feinberg, who oversees the 20 billion dollar fund, told a house committee that he is reformulating the rules to make payouts more generous for shrimpers.

Shrimpers were upset because many of their claims are being denied and those that are approved are slow to get paid. He plans to announce the changes within two weeks.
