Panama City Police are investigating an incident where a man allegedly shot another man in the hand Sunday evening.

It happened in the area of West Beach Drive around 6:00 Sunday evening.

Initial reports are that a black male shot another man in the hand during an attempted robbery.

The victim drove himself to Bay Medical Center and police went there to question him.

Meanwhile, a countywide search was issued for the suspect who is described as a 6 foot tall black male wearing a white shirt, dark pants and carrying a black revolver.
