Panama City Beach-- A serious accident on Back Beach Road Sunday evening injured at least three people.

It happened just after 6:30 on U.S. 98 on the west end of Panama City Beach.

Initial reports say there was at least one possible fatality and others injured. Several ambulances, fire departments, Beach police and FHP were on scene.

It appears an Acura sedan and a Ford F-150 pick up truck collided. Both vehicles were in the median.

Authorities had one lane of traffic both eastbound and westbound on 98 closed.

FHP is still investigating.

the man in the accident that was quoted to be a possible fatality is our brother. we are in bay medical with him right now and he's undergoing serious surgery right now. the doctors have quoted that his neck is broken and spine is fractured. doctors seem to think that he will be paralyzed from chest down. anyone who reads this and is a faithful person, please lift our brother up in your prayers. we are believing that God is going to work in him and fully pull him through this without any permanent damage. our brother is 28yrs old and has been deaf since he was 10 months old. he just had an implant 2 weeks ago that allowed him to hear for the first time in his life. he has a yr and a half old daughter and a wife who love him very much. so please keep him in your prayers and i'll post updates as i get them. thank you
