“Pigs and Pins” has become an annual tradition helping to raise funds for the Special Olympics here in Bay County.

Thirteen teams made up of local firefighters, police officers, the news media and local officials competed in a bowling tournament at Rock it Lanes in Panama City Beach Saturday afternoon.

The Panama City Police Department sponsored the fundraiser. The event raised about $1,500 dollars for the Special Olympics game.
