Panama City-- Shriners at the Shaddai Temple in Panama City celebrated Christmas early this weekend.

The Shriners met with about 100 kids at their annual Christmas party for deserving children.

They had food and Christmas caroling, magic tricks and presents. And Santa Claus himself made a surprise landing in the Bay County Sheriff's helicopter.

Shriners at the Shaddai Temple provide help for about 250 children in Bay and surrounding counties.

They support a network of 22 pediatric hospitals that provide specialized care for children free of charge.

I will never forget what the Shriner's, Paul Brent and his affiliations and Early Education and Care did for my and my family, when my son was burned years ago. You all are forever in my heart!
