Kayaker hit by boat, taken to the hospital

The kayaker went to the hospital after being hit by the Sea Screamer. Officials do not yet know his condition.


The pedestrian is in the hospital in critical condition. Officials say they have little information on the vehicle that hit him. You're asked to call police if you know anything about this incident.


Officials say they have found the body of the missing kayaker. Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission officers found his body Sunday in the middle of the Choctawhatchee Bay, due south of the Lagrange Bayou.



Officials say the driver hit a pedestrian and continued in an unknown direction.
