According to the American Diabetes Association, a new case of diabetes is diagnosed every twenty-one seconds, which is why people in our area are fighting back to make sure you're healthy!

Volunteers are hosting an expo this weekend in Panama City and they want you to attend! The event is called: Got Diabetes, “Borderline” Pre-Diabetes? There are non-toxic practical solutions!

Doctors will be in to show you ways to improve the quality of your health and fight the current diabetic epidemic.

One volunteer, Alan Murphy says he is so involved because his 8-year old daughter Caity has type one diabetes and after exhausting traditional medicine, Alan and his family started an alternative lifestyle and his daughter can live with the disease.

The wellness clinic is Saturday, January 24, 2009 starting at 10:00 am at the Bay County Library On 11th Street between Florida Ave. and Balboa.
