Man Guilty of Killing Girlfriend's Husband
Posted: 12:47 PM Jun 14, 2012

BROOKSVILLE, Fla. (AP) -- A Tampa Bay area man has been convicted of killing his girlfriend's estranged husband.
A Hernando County jury found 42-year-old William Siskos guilty Thursday of second-degree murder.
Authorities say Siskos was looking for his girlfriend, Kim Kasbach, at a neighbor's house in June 2010. He found her, but her husband, Joe Kasbach, was also there. A confrontation ensued between the two men, ending with Siskos shooting Joe Kasbach with a .22-caliber Ruger.
Siskos claimed that Kasbach hit him twice and was reaching for a weapon when he fired. A witness, who prosecutors say was friends with both men, testified that Kasbach never hit Siskos or pulled a weapon.
Siskos faces up to 25 years in prison at his Aug. 2 sentencing.
