Send Andersen Won't Run Again

Bit of a local political shocker today. Bay County Supervisor of Elections Mark Andersen has decided against seeking a 4th term in office. Andersen made the announcement Monday.

Andersen says after lengthy discussions with his family, he has decided to pursue other ventures in life.

Andersen was first elected the Supervisor's office in 2000. He ran unopposed in 2004 and 2008.

Andersen will serve through the General Election in November.
