The last remnant of the old Bay County government complex on Mulberry Avenue is set to come down in the next week.
This radio tower located on the Mulberry Avenue property is the final piece of the property standing. The lot used to house the Emergency Operations Center, Property Appraiser, and Tax Collectors Office.
Once the new EOC in Southport, and the government complex on the 11th street in Panama City were opened the county tore down the old buildings.
It will cost $5,000 dollars to remove the radio tower and work is expected to start later this week. The county doesn't have any immediate plans for the property.
