Patrick Now Indians Head Coach

Marianna, FL-- The coaching carousel is rather active these days, and Chipola College is among the schools currently riding it.

Monday Chipola introduced it's new men's head basketball coach.
Jake Headrick departing after three seasons for an assistants job at Samford.

So in steps Patrick Blake. He spent last season on the Chipola bench as an assistant, before that he was a grad. assistant at Ole Miss, his degree's from Louisville. Like Headrick before him, he takes over Chipola as his first head coaching job on any level.

"We have great fan support." says coach Blake. "We're in a great community. We have all the resources we need to be successful. And we've got a great group of guys coming back, so I'm really excited about this opportunity. I've got the pieces in place to be successful and continue the long line of success that Chipola has had."

Recruiting is the priority for Blake who has a few spots left to fill on the roster.
