GAINESVILLE, Fla. (AP) -- Florida's quarterback competition is about to start, and it might not end anytime soon. Coach Will Muschamp says he has no timetable for picking a starter between sophomores Jacoby Brissett and Jeff Driskel. He says Brissett and Driskel will split repetitions during spring practice and "we'll name a starter when we're ready. Whether that's spring, summer, fall camp, I don't know." Driskel was named the backup heading into last season, but Brissett supplanted him during the season and started two games when John Brantley was injured. Brissett completed 46 percent of his passes for 206 yards, with two touchdowns and four interceptions. Driskel completed 47 percent of his passes for 148 yards, with no touchdowns and two interceptions. Spring practice begins Wednesday.
