High School Athletes Sign College Scholarships

BAY COUNTY, FL- A couple of high school athletes signing college scholarships to play at the next level Friday.

At Rutherford High School senior wrestler Marcus Roberts signed his scholarship letter to wrestle for the Marion Military Institute in Marion, Alabama. Roberts plans to wrestle in college and join the military ranks once his college days are over. He was a three time district champion, two time county champion, and qualified for the state championships this season.

Over at Bozeman High School, Bozeman basketball player Matt Granville signed a scholarship with Bryan College this afternoon. Bryan College is a NAIA school in Tennessee. He's the first Buck to sign a college scholarship in basketball, so a big day for Matt and the program at Bozeman. He averaged 8 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 assists as a senior on this year's Bucks team.
