Officials say Deerpoint Lake has already been lowered about four feet to accommodate this increased rainfall.
The lake was pretty calm earlier Wednesday before the rain bands started making their way through Bay Bounty. Some people living around the lake are concerned about flooding, but officials say they aren't going to lower the lake any more.
